Yesterday, I went to Ulta with my brother's girlfriend (not a good idea because we enabled each other and I ended up spending way more than planned) but we had a good time :)
What would a trip to Ulta be without a few nail polishes?
I'd seen this palatte online but not given much thought to it - but in person, it's a little beauty! The colors are so pretty and blend together nicely. It even has kitten (my favorite). My only complaint is the packaging - it's cute but a hard paper and hard to close. Minor problem. I would rather have crappy packaging for less money than spend a lot for unnecessary packaging. Stila eyeshadows apply and blend well but have a ton of fallout. Am excited to start playing with it.

Opted for China Glaze Flyin High (it's more blue than torquise as I had hoped), Ulta brand Alter Ego and Material Girl. Have not tried Alterego yet but put Material Girl on my toes - am still undecided about how I like it. Also, got *the last in store* Goth/Glam polish set but no pics yet.
Lilly (who lives at my parents house) had four beautiful baby calico kitties about a month or so ago. (Only three survived so far). I was able to cuddle with all three this morning - they're so cute and have personalities of their own. This one is a bit feisty. They all need names yet. Get to see them again tomorrow!
