Lush Review

Why does LUSH have to be so far away? The closest one is four hours away and online shopping just isn't the same.  The only time I have been there is on my wedding day when I had to make a rush trip to the mall because I forgot to pack my foundation (destination wedding) and there was a Lush store!!  Didn't have much time (or funds) which made it all overwhelming as I had no idea what to pick out. The sales associate was so friendly and really helped me make some purchases.
Comforter Bubble Bar - Simply chose this because it's pink and smells good.  This is a 1/4 chunk of the bar. Even a quarter gives a bunch of bubbles and really don't need more than that.  The smell is delicious - like berries and valentine sweetheart candy in one.  The only complaint is that the bubbles don't seem to be long-lasting - maybe 20 minutes or so.  After the bubble go away the water remains pink and the scent lingers.  However, I don't think this will be repurchased.
Glorious Mud Body Mask - In reality, this is darker in color.  The flash from the camera washed it out quite a bit but it has gotten lighter over time.  Wonder if it's starting to go bad? Does anyone know the shelf like of these things? Don't want to use it up!! Glorious Mud is the best body exfoliant I've ever tried.  Just crumble off some pieces of it and rub it into skin in the shower.  It doesn't take much because the product "grows" when mixed with water.  Afterwards, my skin is so soft. It has a sandy texture - as if someone went to the beach and made a brick of sand. The scent isn't bad - can't really place it though.
Honey I Washed the Kids Soap - First of all, isn't the honeycomb print cute?  The scent is described as honey and caramel.  I can smell both in it but together it's amazing.  Ahhhh.  The smallest chunk of this is enough to wash your whole body.  Most soaps I've tried are drying and leave my body screaming for lotion after a shower but this is moisturizing and almost "coats" my skin.  Can't wait to try other soaps from Lush.

If only it was closer......
